The province recognizes the benefits of CDM programs to the electricity system and electricity consumers, as well as the contribution they provide to Ontario’s economy and competitiveness. RETROFIT PROGRAM MEASURES AND INCENTIVES Effective January 4, 2021. New measures and incentives have been added to the new Retrofit program to enable businesses to continue to save on energy costs and take advantage of a variety of technologies and products to help improve the overall operations of buildings and facilities. RETROFIT PROGRAM NEWS AND EVENTS Program News March 8, 2021 Minor updates to the Retrofit program in April 2021. Some changes will be made to the Retrofit program effective April 8, 2021; these changes include clarifications and minor updates based on feedback received from Retrofit program participants and changing market costs for eligible measures. 2021-2024 CDM FRAMEWORK The IESO has received a Ministerial directive to implement a new 2021-2024 Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) framework, launching the week of January 4, 2021. The province recognizes the benefits of CDM programs to the electricity system and electricity consumers, as well as the contribution they provide to Ontario’s economy and competitiveness. SAVING ENERGY WHILE WORKING FROM HOME The good news is that there are simple ways to save energy when you’re home. Here are our top tips. 1. Stay in one place. Moving from room to room while you work is an easy habit to form. Try setting up a dedicated workspace, so you can limit how much power you're using in otherwise empty rooms. For example, avoid keeping the TV on inanother
