Schwerin Castle Situated on an island and seemingly floating on the waves of Schwerin Lake the fairytale-like castle sparkles with golden towers and a splendid golden dome on. The castle is called "Neuschwanstein of the North". There is hardly an equivalent to this magnificent building. A walk through the Palace Garden is a walk through the history of garden design.
