SCULPTURE ROCKS:
‘Sculpture Rocks’ is an exhibition of Japanese sculpture presented by Sculpture by the Sea at Campbells Cove, The Rocks from 20 May – 3 June, 2021.. The exhibition will feature 17 works by 13 Japanese artists including an ephemeral work by Akira Kamada, as well as works by Keizo Ushio, Takeshi Tanabe and Ayako Saito. ARTISTS IN THE TIME OF COVID: The titles for my artworks are ‘Stay Home’ for which I used ink on paper. The concept for my work for Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2021 was born during lockdown so I decided to transfer these ink on paper face drawings to bronze sculpture. In this way I ‘SCULPTURE ROCKS’ EXHIBITION ANNOUNCED: We are pleased to announce that ‘Sculpture Rocks‘ an exhibition of 18 Japanese sculptures will be staged in Campbells Cove, The Rocks in Sydney, opening 20 May until 3 June. ‘Sculpture Rocks’, a free outdoor exhibition of Japanese sculpture in The Rocks, will be presented by Sculpture by the Sea in partnership with Place ManagementNSW

See the spectacular coastal walk transformed into a 2km long sculpture park over three weeks featuring 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world.
