The annual conference will showcase the new science and thinking that will benefit society in the future, framed by the understanding of the scientific accomplishments in economic geology and mineral discoveries over the SEG STUDENT CHAPTERS SEG Student Chapters. With 111 active chapters in 31 countries, SEG Student Chapters seek to bring together like-minded individuals interested in better understanding our resource-rich environment and the minerals it contains.. SEG encourages the formation of such chapters to help promote the Society's objectives, firstly by advancing the study of mineral deposits and applying geologicalECONOMIC GEOLOGY

SEG members can read, research, and save papers from the journal via GeoScienceWorld (GSW), which hosts the journal as part of an aggregate of geoscience journals, permitting libraries and other organizations to access an integrated group of publications at reasonable cost. The journal, now published semi-quarterly, was first SEG CANADA FOUNDATION (SEGCF) SEG Canada Foundation (SEGCF) The Society of Economic Geologists Canada Foundation (SEGCF) was established in 2000 to promote and raise funds for the science of economic geology by funding education, research, publications, student support, public outreach and other geoscientific programs. HUGH E MCKINSTRY FUND Hugh E. McKinstry Fund. The Hugh E. McKinstry Fund was established in memory of Hugh E. McKinstry, an enthusiastic and loyal member, and a past president of SEG. He, along with his wife, Elizabeth, were very involved with SEG, SEG Foundation, and the economic geology community. Both were loyal and generous friends of SEG and will be truly missed.DISPLAY EVENT
The UNLV SEG Student Chapter will be hosting a virtual short course focused on epithermal ore deposits 9:00am - 5:00pm PDT on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
