EatMem back. My machine at home has 384MB of RAM. This is really nice when I'm running Photoshop or doing some sloppy animation stuff. However, when I'm making software that other people will use, it's a liability -- it lets me be sloppy and write code that sometimes crashes (!) in low-memory situations. STEREOPSIS : FAST SHADOWS ON RECTANGLES Fast Shadows on Rectangles back Michael Herf December 2001 December 2006 (Christmas!) update: Here's the code I gave to Andrew at DeviantArt back in 2001 (something similar to this makes the shadowed thumbnails on their site). The one I use for myself is more nicely encapsulated (no global variables and nicer encapsulation for bitmaps and rectangles), but this is easier to post.
