The solver will set that candidate as true and turn false all the candidates it can see in the row, column and box. It will then look at all those in turn and follow every inference, ON, OFF, ON, OFF until it can go no further.SUDOKUWIKI.ORG
The Daily Jigsaw Sudoku puzzle by Andrew Stuart. This Jigsaw Sudoku can be completed directly on the web page - just enter numbers in thecells. Have fun!
THE DAILY KILLER SUDOKU BY ANDREW STUART Killer is based on Sudoku, so ultimately you need to place the numbers 1 to 9 on all the cell so that 1 to 9 is unique in every row, column and box. However, you will have few, if any, completed cells in Killer. Instead, groups of cells form blocks or 'cages' - and the clue is the sum of the solutions to those squares. KILLER SUDOKU SOLVER BY ANDREW STUART Click on Take Step to step through the solution. Unknown squares are filled with 'candidates' - possible solutions. Any cells that are reduced to one possible candidate are solved. You can enter a new Killer puzzle using the new 'designer' - click on " Enter new Killer ". Once you fill in the clues and set up the cages correctly it can besolved.

Remote Pairs Example A word of warning though. It is essential that the line of attack is supported by a contiguous line of locked pairs. In the example on the right we have four pairs of 3/4 at A,B,C and D.However, while AB is connected and so is CD, there is no connection between the two groups. Therefore the elimination of the 3/4s on Z and X are not legal or logical.SUDOKUWIKI.ORG

The principle behind BUG is the observation that any Sudoku where all remaining cells contain just two candidates is fatally flawed. There would have been a last remaining cell with three candidates. The odd number that couldn't be paired with another cell would have to be the solution for that cell in order to prevent the bi-value 'Graveyard'.SUDOKUWIKI.ORG
I've been looking at a new idea for measuring the difficulty of very hard puzzles - ones that can't use the standard scoring because they don't complete. The method is simple like all good ideas. One counts the number of unsolved cells that - if magically filled - render the remaining puzzle trivial. BANNED - SUDOKUWIKI.ORG Y-Wing Strategy. Y-Wing Figure 1.
