This list is, by definition, highly subjective – these are my opinions and suggestions for where to begin and which performers I admire. BEAUTIFUL MUSIC IN DIFFICULT TIMES Music is a refuge. Music is a source of inspiration. Music has the power to comfort and minimize stress. Music connects us to one another and to faraway places and eras.
