FISHING METHODS
The methods and fishing gear used to catch fish are a determining factor of sustainability as they can impact upon marine life and habitats. Over the past 50 years, fishing technology has advanced greatly, increasing the capacity for boats to locate and catch fish. IMPROVING THE UPTAKE OF HEALTHY START VOUCHERS Healthy Start is the UK’s food welfare scheme for pregnant women and young children in low-income families, who are amongst the groups most at risk of experiencing food poverty. CAN BIDEN SERVE UP A SOLUTION TO THE UK'S FOOD CHALLENGES As a Cornishman it’s with some curiosity that I see my beautiful backwater thrown into the spotlight of a major political event at a critical time for so many global issues. Whilst the pandemic won’t stray too far from the top of the agenda, much emphasis is being put on the UK’s desire to use it as a platform for commitments to tackle the climate emergency.
