MOST ANTICIPATED SWITCH RPGS COMING 2021 While I was extremely hot on Rune Factory 5 for a while (and still very much look forward to it), I’m completely smitten by the news of SaGa Frontier Remastered – a remaster we certainly need! ICEWIND DALE REVIEW (SWITCH) Icewind Dale wasn’t an innovative game 20 years ago – it was a byproduct of Baldur’s Gate‘s success.Alongside Planescape: Torment, they each provided their own iterative spin on the beloved Dungeons & Dragons franchise. It is a shame that Icewind Dale decided to play it safe, and to a boringly generic fault. It is impossible to fully assess Hellpoint, the latest hardcore action RPG to be released on the Nintendo Switch, without understanding it is the first offering of Quebec-based Indie Dev, Cradle Games. SWITCHRPG NINTENDO DIRECT E3 2021 PREDICTIONS The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was one of the earliest “big” releases on the Nintendo Switch, dropping way back in November of 2017. To some, this was the begging of a healthy developing relationship between Bethesda Game Studios and Nintendo, while others only saw it as an excuse for Skyrim port #2,156,280. Neither example is incorrect. LIEAT MINI REVIEW (SWITCH) LiEat is a collection of three games, each lasting about an hour each. The premise of each is fairly simple, although points from one game come up in another, with the third game answering any lingeringquestions.

Denizens of this world revolve around roles – their “calling” – which are issued by four deities (aptly referred to as the Quadeities), of which one exists for each season (or realm). SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI III NOCTURNE HD REMASTER PREVIEW Reawaken your inner demon in a modernized version of the acclaimed ATLUS classic, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster. What begins as a normal day in Tokyo turns out to be everything but, when the Conception – an ethereal apocalypse – is invoked. SQUIDS ODYSSEY REVIEW (SWITCH) The studio, The Game Bakers, first released Squids Odyssey to the 3DS and Wii U before bringing it aboard the Switch train on July 5th. The game is actually a compilation of the studio’s first two games that were released on mobile and PC platforms starting way back in 2011, Squids and Squids Wild West, with some additional content thrown inthe mix.

Traditional level-ups are typically doled out at a lighting-fast rate, leading to a very real – and constant – growth in base power. Throw in secondary systems, such as item crafting/upgrading and character/class/party ICEWIND DALE REVIEW (SWITCH) Icewind Dale wasn’t an innovative game 20 years ago – it was a byproduct of Baldur’s Gate‘s success.Alongside Planescape: Torment, they each provided their own iterative spin on the beloved Dungeons & Dragons franchise. ANIMUS REVIEW (SWITCH) Animus is an action-combat Role-playing game, where the player traverses a variety of linear environments in a mission-based structure. These missions will involve several small skirmishes and usually end in a more powerful one-on-one encounter. There are a select few that are only boss arenas. This is the entirety of the game, so if you’reDEX REVIEW (SWITCH)

Humans, mystics, mechs, and monsters all have their own separate means of progression, and none are really comparable to the FINAL FANTASY IV: A 2020 ADVENTURE Unprecedented Crisis is a ROMhack that aims to show off the capabilities of a specific utility, FF4kster. Story-wise, it is very similar to the original up to a certain point, then opening up to a scenario-based system that allows the player to choose their finalpartyto an extent.

KEMCO RPGS: THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY From the very beginning, SwitchRPG.com has been vocal about the meme the bite-sized, (sometimes) budget-friendly titles that are KEMCO RPGs. Our staff has supporters on both sides, however – fans and not-so-fans – but our goal has always been to be as transparent about the actual content of these games as humanly possible. LIBRA: COZY GROVE (SWITCH) Cozy Grove has been a game that’s captured my interest since the first time that I saw the artwork last year. Hearing that it was a simulation game related to helping ghosts with their many menial tasks to help them pass on, it had my credit card hostage in an instant. Hearing that it was a simulation game related to helping ghosts with their many menial tasks to help them pass on, it had my credit card hostage in an instant. For those looking for a bite-size RPG experience with charming art and characters, LiEat is an enjoyable experience, despite the ease ofgameplay.
LIEAT MINI REVIEW (SWITCH) LiEat is a collection of three games, each lasting about an hour each. The premise of each is fairly simple, although points from one game come up in another, with the third game answering any lingeringquestions.
ANIMUS REVIEW (SWITCH) Animus is an action-combat Role-playing game, where the player traverses a variety of linear environments in a mission-based structure. These missions will involve several small skirmishes and usually end in a more powerful one-on-one encounter. There are a select few that are only boss arenas.
