About The Body Department. The Body Department is a creative collective on a mission to propel wellness, fitness and female empowerment within the digital space. GUILT-FREE MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY I love mashed potatoes! They are one of my favorite sides to eat at Thanksgiving. This year, I decided to try to make a healthier version and make it vegan. They turned out awesome! These potatoes are creamy, delicious, and have a great depth of flavor. Try these potatoes next week for a healthier twist HEALTHY BREAKFAST IDEAS & RECIPES Here are some healthy breakfast ideas and recipes that are quick and easy! Banana Oat Pancakes Ingredients: -1 Banana -2 Eggs -1/3 Cup Oats -Blueberries -Raspberries -Baking Powder -Salt -Syrup Directions: 1. In a blender, combine the peeled banana, eggs, oats, baking powder and salt. 2. MOUTHWATERING HEALTHY HOMEMADE NUTELLA 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Pinch of salt. Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roast hazelnuts on a baking sheet for 8-10 min to get the natural oils heated and make it easier to blend. Peel off most of the hazelnut skins, which will make a creamier Nutella. Add hazelnuts to a food processor or blender. 10 HEALTHY ROAD TRIP SNACKS I’ve gathered a list of my favorite healthy road trip snacks, and the ones I will be bringing when we leave for DC this weekend. It can be tempting to purchase junk food at gas stations, or hit a drive-thru, but we all know those aren’t the best options for our body.
