If you've got 15 minutes, that's all it takes to stir up a batch of this Ridiculously Easy Chocolate Chip Shortbread. It's sweet, buttery and, in addition to being ridiculously easy, it's also ridiculouslydelicious!
BEST EVER HOMEMADE FLOUR TORTILLAS THE CAFÉ SUCRE FARINE To make with a mixer: Combine flour, salt and baking powder in the bowl of a stand mixer. Using the dough hook, mix dry ingredients until well combined. Add oil and water with mixer running at a medium speed. After about 1 minute, or when mixture comes together and begins to form a ball, decrease mixing speed to low. RIDICULOUSLY EASY BUTTERMILK BISCUITS Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 450°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or spray a sheet pan with cooking spray. Measure 1 cup of buttermilk and place in the freezer for 10 minutes while prepping other ingredients. Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl, cover and heat on high for 30 seconds. EASY FARMHOUSE BUTTERMILK CAKE Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake the cake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and/or the cake springs back when lightly touched in the center. During the last 10 minutes of baking time, prepare the topping. Stir the butter andthe sugar together.
ZOE'S COPYCAT SALAD DRESSING THE CAFÉ SUCRE FARINECREAMY MEDITERRANEAN SALAD DRESSING Combine powdered garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Rub mixture with your fingers for a minute or two till herbs are finely crushed. This will help bring out the flavor of the dried herbs. Combine oil, vinegar and spice mixture in a medium-size glass jar. Shake well to combine. HOW TO COOK BLACK RICE (OR FORBIDDEN RICE) Instructions. Place the rice in a medium-size bowl and cover with water. Let the rice soak for 5 minutes then, place one hand in the water and swish the rice vigorously for 15 seconds. Pour the rice into a fine-mesh strainer and rinse for 20 seconds. Drain the rice well, then transfer it to a COCONUT CURRY CHICKEN RAMEN Add sliced chicken and stir to coat chicken well. Cover and place chicken mixture in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes. Transfer the curry sauce to a blender container. Add one can of the coconut milk and puree until silky smooth. Return mixture ORANGE CILANTRO VINAIGRETTE This easy Orange Cilantro Vinaigrette is bursting with fresh flavor will add lots of pizzazz to your winter salads. Combine all ingredients except cilantro (or basil) in a medium size jar with a tight-fitting lid. Cover and shake well to combine then add cilantro (or basil) and stir well. Shake before serving. MAKE-AHEAD BACON WRAPPED GREEN BEANS Bake for 10 minutes or until strips are beginning to turn golden but are still soft. Remove the pan from the oven and transfer bacon to paper towels to drain. While bacon is baking, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add beans, cover and cook for 1 minute. Place a strainer in the sink and drain beans.
