HOW TO RE-PAINT YOUR YUCKY WHITE CABINETS If you have brown wood cabinets and are wanting to go to white cabinets you may need to do an additional step of using primer and/or a stain blocker to keep the tannins of the wood from bleeding through your paint. 1. My brother is an electrician and frequently has these left behind at a job site destined for the trash and had asked if I wanted me to save one for me. HOW TO PAINT A CONCRETE PORCH OR PATIO 1. Pressure wash your concrete. Clean thoroughly of any dust and dirt. 2. Use a concrete cleaner/etcher product. Rinse well. -Be very careful with this product and read and follow all instructions. It contains acid which can cause chemical burns so make sure to wear eye protection, gloves, use in a ventilated area, etc.) 3. PAINTED KITCHEN CABINETS MAKEOVER WITH MAGNOLIA PAINT Step 3 – fill holes (if needed) I was changing my drawer hardware from one knob to pulls that needed 2 holes so I filled the holes with wood putty, let dry, and then sanded smooth. Also any large knicks/scratches I also filled and sanded smooth. Step 4 – sand. Yes, you need to sand. This is a very basic pine wood frame – distressed, and stained. And you don’t have to miter the corners either – you can just put them against each other like this and even have Home Depot cut the wood for you.
