January 20, 2021. It’s crazy to think just over a month has passed since we officially started this build. Even through the snow and the rain, all the different crews of people have been working hard making this beautiful home come to life. The girls are glued to the windows every step of the way running up and down the steps, shouting what THE SWEETER SIDE OF MOMMYHOOD I think 2017 is the year of essential oils in my newsfeeds. I swear that's all I see 24/7 from so many Mama friends that I love and respect. It can't all be hype I thought, so here I am dipping my toes into the water with a few finds from Oilogic from buybuy BABY, FREEZER MEALS FOR THE BEACH! 1. Split crushed tomatoes and juice between two 9×13″ disposable foul trays and spread the tomatoes out as your base layer. 2. Mix filling ingredients until nicely incorporated. Spoon into a large piping bag and cut two inches off the tip. 3. Squeeze filling into shells and arrange in foil trays. 4. THE SWEETER SIDE OF MOMMYHOOD The Sweeter Side of Mommyhood. I am sort of cringing sharing these photos today because I've just been struggling to accept how I look this pregnancy (gah, I know I'll miss it someday right?!) but I'm too obsessed with this outfit not to share it with you guys. THE SWEETER SIDE OF MOMMYHOOD This post is brought to you in collaboration with The Motherhood and 412 Food Rescue. All opinions, thoughts and images are my own. Last Friday, these three beauties and I had the opportunity to do a food drop for a nonprofit organization called 412 Food Rescue. THE SWEETER SIDE OF MOMMYHOOD If you've been reading for awhile you know that we love Chick-Fil-A. I'm super excited and proud to partner with them and The Motherhood again, this time to highlight Hero Night at The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh presented by Chick-Fil-A. PROJECT FILES: WEEBRAWBAG PATTERN AND AN EASY IMPROV I think I’m about to be on a pouch kick so satisfying to sew something cute and functional in one sitting! You don’t need a ton of supplies and the finished result is so good. This pattern is called The Weebrawbag Pattern and can be found here. Lilly wants to make a drawstring bag pattern DOUBLE GAUZE BABY BLANKET Directions: Create a quilt sandwich by laying down backing double gauze wrong side up. Lay flannel on top. Place other double gauze fabric on top of flannel, right side facing up. Use 505 spray baste between layers to secure fabric (or pin baste if you are old school!) Run quilt lines on the machine using a walking foot and a wide setstitch
QUICK AND EASY FALL SEED STITCH KNIT THROW OR BABY BLANKET The weather finally cooled off here! Despite being more comfortable at 34 weeks pregnant (can you believe it?!) this also means getting back into knitting everything under the sun. Perfect for anyone on your holiday list but especially nice for college kids, or those difficult-to-shop-for men in your life you know you have one or two! The colors can be changed of course but there is something timeless and classic about white, grey and black that make this palette perfectfor all

EASTER BASKET IDEAS AND EASTER THOUGHTSApril 5, 2020
Easter posts get me all choked up right now so I’m quite literally typing this through tears- with so much uncertainty and stress, anxiety and unknown in our kids lives right now I’m excited to have a holiday to focus on. A deep reminder of our faith, a fun and exciting day to break up the monotony of quarantine and a perfect excuse to treat my favorite girlies with little things I know will make them smile. I get a huge knot in my chest thinking about Easter this year and how different it will be for so many families (ours included). Precious traditions and ceremonies will be dearly missed or done differently. But I feel incredibly lucky to have the power to still make this holiday ... read more FREE ASL COLORING PAGESApril 1, 2020

I’ve turned my ASL Coloring Book into free printable coloring pages you can use at home with your kids or students to learn the asl alphabet. This post contains letters A through F and my next few blog posts will continue to share the rest of the letters in manageable chunks. I’ve also added printable pages for the whole asl alphabet that you can use as learning resources orjust ... read more

Here is what that looked like: M- 30 second plankO- 50 high knees N- 5 laps (jog around the room or around your house etc)D- 20 glute bridge holdsA- 20 mountain climbers Y- 5 broad jumps You can repeat the word a few times or keep picking new words. My girls each wanted to pick a word so we did ... read more FLYTE BAG : CARRY ON WEEKENDER REVIEWFebruary 16, 2020
You know how traveling itself can kind of be a pain in the you know what, and any sort of little tool or hack to make it easier is worth shouting about from the rooftops? This is how I feel about the Adélie Bag from Flyte, a business designed to create bags specifically suited to active lifestyles. When I was hunting around for a carryon to bring with me for a 9 day trip to Hawaii, I kept coming across bags that seemed ok but were shown in use almost exclusively as gym bags. I really needed something with functionality for air travel, specifically suited to fit under the seat in front of you. The Adélie Flyte bag seemed to fit the bill so I was super excited to give it atry. ... read more
