Contributions to our Marine Community. Trans Mountain is an active and contributing member of the Salish Sea marine community. EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS The most critical and responsible emergency preparedness strategy is to prevent an incident from occurring at all. However, in the case of an incident, Trans Mountain is prepared to respond quickly with detailed emergency procedures and trained professionals. KAMLOOPS - TRANS MOUNTAIN Work will commence in a series of phased activities along the pipeline right-of-way. This could include; surveying, flagging and staking the right-of-way, mobilization of crews and equipment, preparing the right-of-way, clearing and grading, delivery and staging of pipe, trenching, welding, lowering of pipe, backfilling and restoration ofthe right-of-way.

On any given day, the pipeline is used to move different grades or varieties of petroleum. Products moving next to each other in the pipeline can mix. The current Trans Mountain Pipeline System, in operation since 1953, spans approximately 1,150 kilometres. It starts in Edmonton, Alberta and terminates on the West Coast of British Columbia in Burnaby. The Trans Mountain Expansion Project is subject to 156 conditions.The conditions are enforced by the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) and demonstrate the rigour and detail that will go into every stage of the Project to mitigate risks, respect the rights of those directly affected and operate safely. VALEMOUNT - TRANS MOUNTAIN Valemount Camp Community July 2020 - August 2022. The Valemount Camp Community is a self-sufficient site connected to power with on-site water and sewer infrastructure. The camp communitywill house up to 600 people working on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project and is operated by Tsetsk’wem Management Services – a Joint Venture betweenDETAILED ROUTE
