VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS
A fun way to engage students during at home learning is to take a virtual field trip! There are many great museums, zoos, aquariums, and theme parks with virtual tours. Check out the following resources: Good Housekeeping’s list of Virtual Museums, Zoos and Aquariums.Discovery
HOW WILL I KNOW IF ENGINEERING IS RIGHT FOR ME The study of engineering involves completing a rigorous and intensive program that includes mathematics, the sciences and highly technical courses related to the engineering discipline that is being studied. The work is challenging, but very doable. With hard work and commitment you can make it. 5 TRENDS IN STEM EDUCATION According to the 100Kin10 Trends Report, 2019 is a big year for STEM education. These five trends are among those defining STEM and education this year: Improved Perceptions of Teaching. Recent polls show that most parents don’t want their children to become teachers.
