HOW TO MAKE PERFECT CUPCAKES EVERY TIME Baking cupcakes is easy peasy. Remember to pre-heat the over to 350 degrees – the pre-heating is super important. Place the cupcake pan in the middle of the oven. Don’t have pans on two racks of the oven, if they can’t fit together on the middle rack, back the batches separately. Don’t open the oven while the cupcakes are baking. HOW TO DOCTOR A BOXED CAKE MIX The first thing we always do is replace half of the required water with freshly brewed coffee. This trick greatly enhances the chocolate flavor of the cake mix and NEVER makes the cake taste like coffee. (If you are trying to make a Mocha Cake, this is not the way to do it.) How to make Mini M&M Cookie dough. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a mixer. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until the dough is light and fluffy. In a separate bowl, add the flour, the Baking Soda and salt and mix. Add the flour mixture to the cookie dough a bit at a time and mix until it is completelyincorporated.

Take the curd off of the heat, stir in the butter and allow CHAMPAGNE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Add softened sticks of butter. Beat on low until powdered sugar is incorporated. Then move mixer up to medium-high speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. When completely mixed the frosting may appear dry. Add Champagne, a little bit at a time until frosting is the proper consistency. BANANA CAKE COOKIES WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add the mashed bananas and continue mixing. Mix in the baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix well. Add the flour one cup at a time and mix until combined. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. SOFT AND CHEWY OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES The Secret to Soft, Moist Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Step 1: To prepare the raisins, add three large eggs to a small bowl. Step 2: Whisk the eggs until the whites and the yolk combine. Step 3: Add the vanilla and continue to whisk the egg mixture. Step 4: Add the raisins to SHORTBREAD COOKIE BARS How to make the Shortbread Cookies. Step 1: Add butter to a mixer and cream until fluffy (2-3 minutes.). Add Powdered Sugar and mix until combined. Add Baking Soda with the Flour (one cup at a time) and mixed just until combined. Step 2: Divide the dough into two equal portions. Wrap one in plastic wrap and refrigerate. THE BEST MAPLE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING A note about the Maple Extract. There are two types Crescent Mapleine Imitation Maple Flavoring or Maple Extract.Here is a great article that goes into a lot of detail on the differences between the two.We tried both in our Best Maple Buttercream Frosting recipe and THE BEST EVER WHIPPED CREAM Your whipping cream will whip up better in the cold bowl! Pour very cold Heavy Whipping Cream into a mixing bowl. Add the Vanilla Extract. Add Powdered Sugar to taste. Whip on low until the Whipping Cream, Vanilla and Powdered Sugar are combined. Whip on high for 2-3 minutes until stiff peaks are formed. THE BEST LEMON CREAM CHEESE FROSTING Start by juicing and zesting a lemon. You will need 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1 heaping teaspoon of lemon zest. For us, that was one large lemon. Add softened Cream Cheese, softened Butter, lemon juice and lemon zest to the mixer. ‘. Mix the Cream Cheese, Butter and Lemon until it is fully incorporated. THE BEST MOCHA BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Mix a packet of Starbucks Instant French Roast Coffee with 1 teaspoon of very hot water. Stir until the coffee crystals are completely dissolved and then allow the mixture to cool. Add 1 cup of softened Butter to a mixer and then pour in the 1 teaspoon of concentrated coffee flavor. Now add 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. ANGEL FOOD CAKE WITH LEMON BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Make the Angel Food Cake batter according to the directions on the box. Pour the angel food cake batter into an ungreased Angel Food Cake pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven until the top is golden brown and the cracks that form are dry to the touch. THE BEST STRAWBERRY BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Add 1/4 cup of the Strawberry Puree to the butter/powdered sugar and mix until the frosting is the right consistency. If it is too thick add a tiny bit more of the puree. Using the strawberry puree (versus milk & vanilla in regular Buttercream Frosting) makes the frosting a little looser but it will firm up in the refrigerator. (A single batch will give you approximately 2 1/2 cups of frosting.) Add 14 drops of Red food coloring and mix the food coloring with a spoon (as opposed to using the mixer). Add 6 drops of Crimson food coloring and stir byhand.

HOW TO MAKE OREO COOKIE CRUSTS Pour the butter covered crumbs into your pie plate. This is a 9″ pie plate. Press and mold the moistened cookie crumbs into the pie plate. We used the bottom of our 1/2 cup measuring up to firmly press the Oreo mixture against the pie plate on both the bottom and the sides of the plate. The more tightly you can pack in the crumbs, the better THE BEST CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Our Best Chocolate Buttercream Frosting starts with our Best Buttercream Frosting Recipe as the base. KAHLUA BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Instructions. Add softened butter to mixer. Add Kahlua. Mix until butter and Kahlua are completely mixed. Add powdered sugar. Beat on low until powdered sugar is incorporated. Then move mixer up to medium-high speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. When completely mixed the frosting may appear dry. BROWN BUTTER BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Place 1/2 cup of butter in a skillet on medium heat. Melt the butter and then allow it to continue to simmer on medium heat. The melted butter will start to bubble and a foam will appear and then brown crystals will begin to form. This is the good stuff. Stir every 30 seconds for about 6-7 minutes. HOW TO MAKE PERFECT POPCORN Pour 2 Tablespoons (or so, depending on how big of a pan you use) of oil in the bottom of a medium/large pan. The oil should generously cover the bottom of the pan. Heat the pan over Medium/High heat. Put 3 test popcorn kernels in the pan and put on the cover. After you hear the test kernels pop, take off the lid. THE BEST STRAWBERRY BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Add 1/4 cup of the Strawberry Puree to the butter/powdered sugar and mix until the frosting is the right consistency. If it is too thick add a tiny bit more of the puree. Using the strawberry puree (versus milk & vanilla in regular Buttercream Frosting) makes the frosting a little looser but it will firm up in the refrigerator. LITTLE FISHY CUPCAKES Instructions. First, make a batch of cupcakes. Next separate the M&M's by color. You'll need about 15 M&M's for the scales for each cupcake, and 2 reds for the fish lips. Make a batch of our delicious Buttercream Frosting and tint the frosting the colors you want your Little Fishy Cupcake to be. Frost the cupcakes. THE BEST LEMON BUTTERCREAM FROSTING Pour the lemon juice into the mixing bowl with the softened butter. Mix the butter and lemon juice until it is fully combined.
