UKCISA - INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVICE AND GUIDANCE Section on who can bring dependants, visa applications for Tier 4 dependants, dependants' working rights, student's baby born in the UK, and how dependants of non-Tier 4 students can come to the UK, either for visits or to join the student. UKCISA - INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVICE AND GUIDANCE What is the settlement scheme and why is it necessary? The United Kingdom (UK) left the European Union (EU) on 31 January 2020. See here for an explanation of the current situation in regards to the UK's departure from the EU.. The EU settlement scheme is designed to offer EU, non-EU EEA and Swiss citizens living in the UK before the end of the transition period (see Brexit - immigration), and UKCISA - INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVICE AND GUIDANCE Sabbatical officers and Student permission. The main immigration route for students and for students' union sabbatical officers is Tier 4, or Student from 5 October 2020. The Student and Tier 4 routes allow full-time work for sabbatical officers who are elected to work for the NUS or in the students' union connected to the college or university UKCISA - INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVICE AND GUIDANCE The guidance advises that such a letter should contain the customer’s full name, residential address, and date of birth. Your education institution should give you, or have already given you, an enrolment letter. You should keep the original enrolment letter in a safe place; you can use it when opening a bank account. UKCISA - INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVICE AND GUIDANCE read the guidance from your institution about housing options for international students. check the processes for house-hunting and what support you can get from your institution, your students’ union and any other local agencies. They may have lists of local housingavailable for rent.
UKCISA - INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVICE AND GUIDANCE - HOME Home or Overseas fees: the basics. Publicly funded educational institutions normally charge two levels of fee: a lower 'home' fee and a higher 'overseas' fee. Private sector institutions often have only one level of tuition fee, which all students must pay. Whether you pay a 'home' or 'overseas' fee depends on whether you meet certaincriteria.

How Brexit impacts you will depend on when you come/came to the UK.
