Camp Hale serves 225+ boys and girls each summer, ages 6-15 years, with the goal of increasing their sense of well-being, social skills, and awareness of personal potential. Camp Hale encourages environmental leadership through instilling values, educating, and engaging youth in the preservation of our surrounding naturalresources.
VISION125 & BUILDING A NEW HARRIET TUBMAN HOUSE: In the early 20th Century, responding to the discrimination the community, six black women from Boston opened the Harriet Tubman House at 37 Holyoke Street in the South End. A personal friend of Tubman, Julia O. Henson rented the Tubman House as a place of lodging for black women who had recently migrated from the South.
