CARDIOVASCULAR & THORACIC ANESTHESIOLOGY Members of UT Southwestern’s Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesiology Division care for over 1000 patients per year who undergo cardiac, aortic, and thoracic surgeries, as well as endovascular repairs, percutaneous interventions and hybrid procedures. These surgeries and interventions include state-of-the-art programs in areas such as valve PEDIATRIC ANESTHESIOLOGY FELLOWSHIP Our free-standing pediatric hospital is the eighth largest pediatric healthcare provider in the nation. FACULTY POSITIONS AVAILABLE The APS also manages non-surgical pain as in severe trauma, multiple fractures, extensive burns, carcinomas, acute radiculopathies, chronic pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis and acute-on-chronic pain. The New Parkland Hospital opened in August 2015 (just 1 year after CUH!). This impressive facility encompasses 2.5 million square feet.
