Whatever Pride means to you, you can #ChooseYourPride. Our team has been hard at work planning our 2021 Pride season of events. We have consulted with the City of Vancouver and the Parks Board, as well as, continue to monitor the Provincial Health Guidelines. The plan is to offer a hybrid season of events that includes small, in-personsocially
ABOUT US – VANCOUVER PRIDE SOCIETY Gender parity was added to the Vancouver Pride Society’s Bylaws, ensuring that women would be represented in leadership positions. Recognizing the importance of sober spaces at Pride, we began to partner with Clean, Sober, and Proud to produce substance-free parties during Pride Week. Accessible viewing areas were created at Prideevents.

We are now accepting tentative applications from organizations that would like to host a vendor or informational booth at PrideFest. The application is tentative based on Provincial Health regulations and we do not expect to be able to confirm the event is going ahead until late June or potentially July. The application is tentative based on Provincial Health regulations and we do not expect to be able to confirm the event is going ahead until late June or potentially July. Vancouver Pride has unveiled a new app for all things Van Pride! Use the app to find the location of all Pride Art Walk pieces, to check out artist biographies, and to learn about each piece in addition to getting up to date info on Van Pride events. QTBIPOC – VANCOUVER PRIDE SOCIETY During Pride 2019, we set out to do exactly that. MangoSweet, a QTBIPOC DJ/organizing duo, partnered with us to produce Hot Fruit:Big Sweat, a free QTBIPOC dance party with over 450 attendees. Through this event, we were also able to put $10,392 directly into the hands of 29 different QTBIPOC artists, performers, DJs and event crew.
