WARHOL’S CONFESSION: LOVE, FAITH, AND AIDS Warhol’s screenprinted canvases from 1986, such as Pink Last Supper (fig. A), Camouflage Last Supper (pages 378–80), and Sixty Last Suppers, are sophisticated paintings that oscillate between flatness and illusionistic depth, ideas that lie at the heart of Renaissance painting. His source for these canvases was a photograph of a print similar to a widely distributed engraving made in 1800OUR ADVISORY BOARD

The advisory board’s function is to advise the director, raise funds to support major museum initiatives and exhibitions, and recruit new advisory board members to continue themuseum’s mission.
‘AMERICA’ (N): A CREATION MYTH The Andy Warhol Museum, on the surface, is an institution that exhibits art to the public, but at the level of structural power, the museum has a small—but impactful—say in how people will narrate “America” in the future. While Fantasy America converses with Warhol’s 1985 book America, the curated exhibition serves as atemporal space
CLASH OF THE CARNEGIES The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh—The Andy Warhol Museum, Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History, and Carnegie Science Center—are going head-to-head in a friendly competition called Clash of the Carnegies. For this bracket-style competition, each museum selected six iconic artworks to represent each institution, and the ultimate winner is chosen by you, our visitors, fans, and followers.
