The award follows the submission of a successful bid by Worcester City Council to the Government's £3.6 billion Towns Fund. THE BELFRY TO HOST BETFRED BRITISH MASTERS 2021 The Belfry Hotel & Resort, renowned for its world-class golf courses, will play host to the much-anticipated Betfred British Masters 2021, from 12 until 15 May 2021.. While the Belfry is no stranger to hosting high-profile golfing events, this will mark the British Masters first visit to the resort since 2008. NOZSTOCK FESTIVAL POSTPONED UNTIL JULY 2022 The 21st edition of Nozstock The Hidden Valley will now be postponed and take place between the 21-24 July 2022. This is the second year running that the ongoing effects of the pandemic, and the lack of government backed insurance, has made it untenable for the festival totake place.
LIGHT HOUSE REOPENS AFTER 14-MONTH HIATUS It’s been a long 14 month wait, but film lovers will be able to visit Wolverhampton’s landmark Light House cinema from Friday 11th June when the doors reopen for the first time since the COVID pandemic forced its closure in March 2020.
