Willa Cather
As a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer of international significance, Willa Cather’s influence is undeniable. Seen as a regional writer for decades after her passing in 1947, critics have increasingly identified Cather as one of the most important American novelists, the peer of authors like Hemingway, Faulkner, and Wharton. In her prolific career, Cather wrote twelve novels, six collections of short fiction, two editions of her book of poetry, _April Twilights_, and a large body of nonfiction, journalism, speeches, and letters. * About Willa CatherSupport our Work
