Festival President Donna Henry told the town council last week that while there’s no guarantee that large-scale events will be allowed come June, organizers had have begun holding planning meetings. WKVI INFORMATION CENTER A Michigan City man has been charged in connection with a March crash that left a LaPorte man dead. LaPorte County sheriff’s deputies say that on March 12, Eric A. Adair, 24, was driving northwest on U.S. 35, when he went left of center and crashed head-on with a WKVI INFORMATION CENTER A wanted East Chicago man was allegedly found driving in LaPorte County with a suspended license in a car without a license plate. Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped the vehicle just after midnight Thursday at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Fail Road.
