We work with individuals, communities, and institutions to find comprehensive solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges, such as poverty, conflict, and inequality. Together, we have made a difference in more than 150 countries—and counting. GLOBAL UNDERGRADUATE EXCHANGE PROGRAM The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by World Learning. Since 2008, World Learning has provided this opportunity to over 2,500 Global UGRAD students. Participants leave the U.S. with the tools to become leaders in theirprofessions
GLOBAL YOUTH EXCHANGES Our youth programs build bridges across cultures and prepare the next generation of global leaders to tackle the world’s challenges. The Experiment in International Living offers high school students immersive, life-transforming experiences in more than 20 countries around the world through three to five-week summer abroad programs. Experimenters connect deeply and engage meaningfully with EGYPT STEM SCHOOLS PROJECT The project transformed Egypt’s only STEM school into a collaborative network that serves as a catalyst for system-wide STEM education reform. The eleven model schools, established throughout the country, deliver comprehensive support to students, teachers, and administrators, as well as key policy, private sector, and community stakeholders. Through targeted awareness raising, institutional PEOPLE-TO-PEOPLE EXCHANGES ARCHIVES Current Programs: In the current cycle, ODYLP is offering exchanges exploring unique themes from music to emergency preparedness. These programs are being conducted through World Learning’s five implementing partners in diverse locations throughout the U.S. See our partners’ websites for more information about the local program. LINKING EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM The Linking Education and Employment Program (LEEP) supported the creation of career development centers at universities in underserved and geographically diverse regions in Egypt.
