Sixty-nine years ago on August 6, 1945, the U.S. dropped a nuclear bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Hiroshima was a military target. It was the 2nd Army headquarters of the Japanese military and controlled much of the defenses in south Japan. The Founders. Dr. Jon and Lorna Kardatzke of Wichita, Kansas, are the founders of the Museum of World Treasures. Since 2001, they donated much of their collection, a great deal of operating capital, and a profound number of hours to the nonprofit organization. Dr. Jon is a retired physician who specialized in family practice medicine for 35years.
