OUR CONFERENCES
Our World Nutrition Congress held in Rio de Janeiro in April 2012 in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Collective Health (ABRASCO) was a success. It was the first major international nutrition meeting run successfully without any funding from conflictedindustries.
STATE OF THE RIGHT TO FOOD AND NUTRITION REPORT 2020 Just over a week after the publication of the UN’s State of Food Security and Nutrition (SOFI) report presenting the global hunger and food insecurity figures, the Global Network for the Right to Food and Nutrition (GNRtFN) releases its 2020 State of the Right to Food and Nutrition Report.. STATE OF THE RIGHT TO FOOD AND NUTRITION REPORT 2020 Just over a week after the publication of the UN’s State of Food Security and Nutrition (SOFI) report presenting the global hunger and food insecurity figures, the Global Network for the Right to Food and Nutrition (GNRtFN) releases its 2020 State of the Right to Food and Nutrition Report.. As in the previous edition, this issue seeks to complement SOFI using an alternative approach based on CERTIFICATION SCHEME Introduction. WPHNA’s certification system for public health nutritionists, starting July 2013, is a practitioner certification system part of the Association’s commitment to, and responsibility for, assisting the professionalization of the public health nutrition workforce worldwide.This system has been developed based on work conducted in the European Union and builds on consultation MOBILIZATION TO CHALLENGE THE UN FOOD SYSTEMS The Civil Society and Indigenous Peoples’ Mechanism (CSM) for relations with the United Nations Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is the largest international space of civil society organisations (CSOs) working to eradicate food insecurity andmalnutrition.
